Easy restoration, needs cosmetics paint, etc... it's a 69 vette 350/370 hp with mild upgrades on the engine which was said to have been rebuilt by the prior owner a few years back and it does seem so, the upgrades are roller rockers, edelbrock intake, mallory distributer, holly carb. Runs strong, I never registered it so I don't know how it is on the highway but does drive around the block nice. Transmission is a muncie, is clean and shifts nice, has a short throw shifter in it. The carpet is o.k. needs to be washed, seats are new, battery is new and the door panels are new. Chrome is dull in some spots and could use some re-chroming, glass is all good but will need a strip and lots of block sanding. The frame is in good shape which is getting rare. All the fundamentals are there, just needs a paint job and tires and a little elbow grease. I have the build sheet and the original color was lemans blue not white. This car was restored in 1990 I have the documentation, also the original build shet and a repro, again the original color was lemans blue. 98,000 miles. October 25, 2008. |
